Can you identify *too often*?

Apparently so.

See Regulation #6 on page 19 of the 1947 Canadian Radio Annual.

This requires that each station announce its call letters at least once, but not more than four times, an hour.

I beleive that Canadian are now required to ID at leat one per DAY

A translator TV station near me was IDing every 3 minutes in morris code.
