AM stations coming & going (Canada)

Wainwright, Alberta: 830KHz:
CKKY moving to FM.

CKKY has applied for permission to move to 101.9 FM. Such permission is nearly always granted.

Yellowknife, Northwest Territories: 1340KHz:
CFYK moving to FM.

CFYK has been granted permission to move to 98.9 FM.

Montreal, Quebec: 600KHz:
Permit granted for new station.

10,000 watts daytime
5,000 watts nighttime
If I recall properly, this is directional day & night with different patterns. It's the old CFCF facility -- CFCF changed calls to CINW & moved to 940 before permanently leaving the air.

The new station will be English news/talk.
