Canadian AM stations going away

Saint-Quentin, New Brunswick: 1230KHz: CBAF-21
Kedgwick, New Brunswick: 990KHz: CBAF-20

Both stations have applied to move to FM, 91.1 and 98.1 respectively, with 50 watts. Calls will change to CBAF-FM-22 and CBAF-FM-23.

Technical changes for Canadian stations

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan: 900KHz:
CKBI requests technical changes

Relocate transmitter and go to non-directional antenna at night with 2,800 watts.

This change will likely make CKBI far easier to log in areas to the south and east of Saskatchewan.


Toronto, Ontario: 1690KHz:
CHTO requests technical changes

Increase daytime power from 3,000 watts to 6,000 watts.
