FCC & CRTC (Canada) AM items 28 May 2019

Ventura, California: KVTA 1590:
Requests STA to operate with parameters at variance to license. Installation of FM translator antenna (K250BV-97.9) caused unexpected effects.
Bozeman, Montana: KBOZ 1090:
Requests STA for 580/580 ND. Station had been off nearly a year. When preparations were made to return, equipment wouldn't work at full power, nor switch to nighttime directional antenna.
Bozeman, Montana: KOBB 1230:
Requests STA for 965/965 ND at the KOZB(FM) site, 45-39-26/110-48-22. Backhoe damaged AM tower.
West Fargo, North Dakota: KFNW 1200:
Requests STA to operate with parameters at variance to license. Tower 3 phasor isn't working properly, which means daytime pattern may be out of tolerance. Nighttime facility is OK.
Sydney, Nova Scotia: CJCB 1270:
Granted nighttime power reduction to 1,350 watts (from 10,000) and to go non-directional.
