Recent FCC items

Five AM stations failed to file renewals on time.  If they get around to filing before June 1st it is likely they will be renewed, although possibly being fined.  It is not a coincidence that the expiring stations are in Mississippi and bordering states.  All stations in the same state expire on the same date, as do all stations in several bordering states.  

WORV-1580 has an application on file to transfer the license to a new owner.  

Cabot, Arkansas: KZTD 1350:
Expires June 1st.

San Jose, California: KLIV 1590:
Requests daytime power increase to 6,200 watts (remains 5,000 watts night), directional at night only.  Relocate 860m to the KVVN-1430 site.
