San Diego, California: KOGO 600:
Requests relocation to KGB-760 site at 32-50-33/117-01-33 & power increase to 9,000 watts daytime, 10,000 watts night, directional with same pattern at all hours.

Royal Palm Beach, Florida: WMEN 640:
Requests STA for reduced power of 5kw daytime while operating on backup transmitter.  (night power not affected)  Main transmitter damaged in fire.
STA granted.

Petoskey, Michigan: WOUF 750:
Calls changed from WARD.

Brooklyn, Nevada: NEW 1440:
Application for new station:
  • 14,000 watts daytime, 12-00-47N/01-00-56E which is near Nyapani, Burkina Faso.
  • 51,000 watts critical hours, 47-00-57N/47-00-57E which is near Vostok in Astrakahn, Russia.
  • 50,000 watts night, 47-00-59N/47-03-49E which is a few miles from the critical hours facility.
Application says Brooklyn, Nevada but the address is a building in Brooklyn, New York.
Burkina Faso & Russia need not worry; there is zero chance this application will be granted.
Amended to specify Brooklyn, New York.  No other changes, and this is still not grantable.

OFF Nov. 1st, lightning damage.

Amery, Wisconsin: WXCE 1260:
OFF Nov. 11th, planning to convert to non-directional operation & must remove components at tower base.

Duluth, Minnesota: WQRM 850:
Requests STA to resume operations (after fire) at reduced power of 1kw.  
Gotta love that callsign!
STA granted.

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: WURD 900:
Requests power change to 1,060/125, directional daytime only; to shorten towers to address structural issues.

Sioux Falls, South Dakota: KNWC 1270:
Requests STA to use night facilities during the day pending repair of rodent damage.

Houston, Texas: KILT 610:
Requests power reduction from 5,000 watts day & night to 4,000 daytime, 2,500 night, directional full time with two different patterns, at 29-59-35/95-28-21.  
To relocate to the KNTH-1070 site.

Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin: WFHR 1320:
Requests nighttime power reduction from 500 watts to 89 & to go non-directional.  Requests STA for same facilities pending permanent approval.
